Our practice manager, nurse and reception teams understand the needs of doctors and their patients and have developed an efficient and organised practice management system to facilitate the care and management of patients. Dr Wanda Wysocka-Grabinska joined South Yarra Clinic in May 2015. After working for many years in South Africa Dr Wysocka-Grabinska then worked 10 years in East Gippsland as a procedural General Practitioner and visiting Medical Officer. She was involved in teaching 4th year Medical students & involved in supervising and teaching Registrars. Dr Wysocka-Grabinska has special interest in Women’s health, small surgical procedures, Paediatrics, Men’s Health & Mental Health Disorders. She is fellow member of the Royal Australian General Practice.

Dr Cristina Visoiu is a female GP who speaks German, English and French.

Dr Visoiu graduated from the University of Basel in 1991 and finished her medical postgraduate education in Hobart in 2002, becoming a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners.

As Cristina has travelled extensively overseas, travel medicine is one of her main areas of interest. Dermatology, and women’s, and sexual health are also part of her vast knowledge and professional experience.

When Cristina is not at work, she keeps active exercising her two Jack Russell Terriers, practising yoga, and is learning Spanish in preparation for her future overseas adventures.

Dr Hema John joined the South Yarra Clinic in Oct 2017 She is an experienced doctor with many years of General Practice and Obstetrics to her credit. She graduated from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore, in India. She has practiced in Australia since 2004. She has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and provides efficient antenatal shared care.

She is very capable of looking after women's health issues including gynecological problems, providing advice about contraception and sexual health.

She is a family doctor for many young children, and provides continued care, through their years of growing up.

She is a fellow of the RACGP and provides comprehensive health care to all her patients.

She is a good listener and finds great happiness in helping the patients who come to see her. Her hobbies are reading and music.

MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Surg Anat, Cert Phleb, Cert US Phleb, Phlebologist

Dr French is a phlebologist and specialist medical practitioner, with extensive experience in venous medicine including varicose veins and spider vein treatments, as well as skin cancer medicine and mole removal.

Dr French has 12 years of clinical experience. He has worked at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in various medical fields such as neurosurgery and plastic surgery. He has additional experience in emergency medicine, trauma and general practice.

In addition to a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with general registration, he has completed a diploma in surgical anatomy from Melbourne University, as well as a certificates in phlebology, and a certificate of ultrasound in phlebology. He is a member of Australian Medical Association, the Australasian college of Aesthetic medicine, and of the Australasian college of phlebology.

Dr French is passionate about providing the highest quality care for his patients.

Dr Luke Ong is a GP with a special interest in Dermatology.

He completed Medical and GP training in northwest England and enjoys the balance of seeing younger and older patients alike. He can confidently manage most chronic medical conditions (Hypertension, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Risk reduction). Since moving to Australia, he has completed further training in Skin Cancer Medicine, skin checks, anti-wrinkle injections, and Implanon insertion/removal. Dr Ong also oversees Iron Infusions for our patients.

Dr Lucca completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Turin in Italy. Starting in General Practice in 1984, Dr Lucca worked in Italy before moving to Australia in 2004. For the next 15 years, Dr Lucca worked in General Practice throughout  regional Victoria before moving to Melbourne.

Dr Lucca has a special interest in Family Care and practicing medicine in a holistic way. In his personal time, Luigi enjoys studying languages.
